The benefits of doing chores are proven to provide children with better self esteem. Ninety out of one-hundred children studied; have shown that children scored higher on test results from kindergarten through fifth grade when they were given chores as youngsters. Physiologist attributes many adult problems to the lack of self esteem. They encourage young parents to find positive feedback to assist children in learning new skills. Higher self esteem is proven when young teens master new tasks.

The benefit of chores is a lifetime payoff. Learning from a young age that taking on the responsibility of performing a chore can teach a child how to save money.
