How To Get People To Notice Your Brochure

You can see a brochure just about all over. You can see one in malls, airports, grocery store aisles, terminals, and conventions. Various sizes and colors invade every nook and corner of jam-packed sites. Whether you pick one up because you need to learn some much-needed information or merely because you are bored, there is always a brochure for you.

There’s no question that they are attention-grabbing, their loud hues or big heavy font and their strategic locations made sure they would get your notice. But with all the other brochures out there, grabbing your notice isn’t enough. The real test of a good brochure is that it will stand out in the sea of other colorful pamphlets, enough to have you take one out from the rest.

That said, you can make your brochure stick out with just a few steps.

Get to know your intended market. This is a crucial step that should not be overlooked. Because even if you have produced the most educational pamphlet with the trendiest design you could think of, if it won’t click with your target readers, then all your efforts will be for naught.

Don’t clog your brochure with book-like text. Nothing kills the interest of an unwilling reader more than a boring text can. A brief title in eye-catching font with an accompanying caption will do. The information on the next pages should be easy to read also, most preferably in a bullet format.

Don’t forget to include your business’ name and contact info. You would want clients to visit your showroom or contact your business for more information after reading the brochures you made. Forgetting to include your company’s contact details will defeat your aim.

Design it on how your intended readers likes it and what your subject matter is all about. Color and font style should likewise be taken into consideration. And just like information, design overload may also kill it. Stick to a single theme and utilize it on all the pages.

Brochures must also be in an easy to spot site where most of your intended market go to. A brochure about an restaurant’s major buffet event is unlikely to be noticed in a stand near a fitness gym.

Those are just some of the basic ways you should consider when you want your brochure to stand out. You could also try adding glimmering texts or other special effects or even have pretty girls to personally give out the brochures if you think those would help. But for starters, try the mentioned steps first to ascertain your brochures would be given more than a passing glance by your target market.
