The Best Options For Hemorrhoid Pain Relief
Hemorrhoids, otherwise called piles, can become swollen and give a whole new definition to the word pain. Hemorrhoids are located in rectum or anus. Sometimes both. Hemorrhoids can be outer (external) or inner ones (internal). Because of the location of the hemorrhoids, many people would rather suffer and try to live with the pain than to get help to cure them.
What causes hemorrhoids? Hemorrhoids have different causes – constipation (although be aware that you can have hemorrhoids without ever being constipated), lifestyles that are too hectic, too stressful, hurried elimination. The problem is, once you’re symptomatic for hemorrhoids, they won’t simply disappear without treatment. How do you know if you have hemorrhoids? What are some of the warning signs? The symptoms will vary according to where the hemorrhoids are. Internal hemorrhoids have different symptoms than external ones.
Internal hemorrhoids have four ways that they’re staged. In first degree hemorrhoids, you’ll see blood but the hemorrhoid doesn’t stick out. In second degree, when the hemorrhoids are at this stage, they do stick out but go back in without help. By the time hemorrhoids reach the third stage, they come out and have to be maneuvered back into the body. When the fourth stage is reached, internal hemorrhoids stick out and can’t be maneuvered back in.

External hemorrhoids are diagnosed easier because along with bleeding, the pain lets you know something’s just not right. Now that you know some of the symptoms of hemorrhoids, how do you treat them?
With creams? There are hemorrhoid creams available for you to buy over the counter, but the only problem with most hemorrhoid creams is that they don’t fix the hemorrhoids. The creams only tame the pain but that comes right back the next time you go to the bathroom. So you’re forced to buy yet another tube. Then another. Why don’t they work? Because if they truly worked, the manufacturer of the creams would be out of business. Not only that, some of these creams can cause some pretty nasty side effects.
