Traveling across the globe is not only about getting from one tourist popular destination to the next, there’s much more that should be involved in a trip around the world. Studying about a people’s cultural values through seeing and observing should be an important part of any traveler. Obtaining an education of a country and its culture and customs will be a huge benefit when traveling.
So important all around the world, food is massive part in the lives of people. Every country throughout the world has their unique and different flavors and forms of culinary treasures that they love to eat. Mexican food traditions are way different from Thai culinary traditions, yet the two countries are equally famous for their distinct foods. Food is the culture currency that groups people together. Gatherings around the world are popular places for food. It is usually the first thing on the agenda, something everyone can appreciate. Cultural travel around food, is an amazing way to be introduced to the glorious and robust effect that eating has on it’s people. Get used to and start loving a countries dishes and locals will accept you into their community, often with a smile on their face.
Language and all forms of communication is another large part of culture travel. Remaining oblivious to the local forms of communication by locals, is a definite way to stand out as a tourist and not learn about the present culture. It doesn’t take a lot of exertion to study a couple of words in the local dialect, and these same few words can be extremely beneficial in all aspects of travel. Learn the common form of greeting, ways to say thank you, and goodbye, at the very least. To blend more into the countries culture, attempt to search for a few words of local slang, phrases that locals will love. Focus on your own passion, if you love eating than learn some food related words.

Etiquette rules of a culture is crucial to consider as a foundation of cultural travel tourism. Customs and traditions are directly related to a persons worldview. A view on the world is a big component on the way things are accomplished, the thoughts behind actions, and a cultures overall ways of doing things.
To succeed as a cultural travel enthusiast means taking the time to read or observe the customs and etiquette of a culture. The world is so diverse, each culture is unique and there are so many things to observe and remember. Getting off the ordinary tourist or backpacking trail and venturing to places that are less frequented or even unheard of destinations is how cultural travel can be it’s most powerful.
There are countless cultural travel dimensions that can make up the focus of cultural travel. Choosing a single focus can be effective, but broadening your horizons and taking the time for people is what is most important. Traveling around the world presents an opportunity to learn, to expand a worldview and most vitally to grow as a person. If we can leverage our circumstances and take advantage of cultural travel experiences, travel was successful.
